Yes because it keeps everything flat specially the lower back the most prone to injuries during movements because of anterior tilt/lordosis, sleeping on the floor will counteract lordosis
But its better to elevate your knees, altought the lower back is more prone to injury in anterior tilt than posterior tilt due to the natural curvature,you still put pressure on the discs when laying down

yeah there were times when this backfired. I wouldn't recommend sleeping like this if you live in northern europe. My body went into fetal position and i don't even live there. If you live in northern europe, You would need to have at least some floor heating.
