“It’s over" wrote Pedro as his phone vibrated. "Hey, what are you doing tonight? Wanna watch a movie?"
It was Maria, the girl from school he had been talking to for a few weeks. In his bed behind him lay Eleonor, the girl to whom he had lost his virginity to three years prior while rolling on mdma. Pedro had been with dozens of girls since then, but they still felt an intense connection to each other that neither had been able to find in any other. Without him noticing she had awoken, and as he, due to his limited mental faculties, started repeating the words on the screen slowly out loud in order to understand the message she heard every word.
"Who was that?" she asked. "You promised me you would stop talking to other girls"
"I'm sorry Eleonor, but I can't. True ascension is having a gf, I don't want to keep sleeping around like this"
"Well why don't we try? We've known each other for so long"
"Sorry, I don't feel like it. I'm not feeling passionate I guess"
