So many single moms on public transit

Every time I go on the subway or bus there is atleast one woman, age 18-25 with a child in the stroller.
Either their husbands are broke or they are being forced to raised Chad's one night stand

Because traffic sucks and it could be faster through public transit. Or they simply don't have a car.

Why don't you simply talk to them:
-OMG, what a cute little baby! You're out for a walk with mommy!!!? I bet you can't wait to return home to daddy!
Then see how she reacts when you mention the father.
