the best way to figure this out is to simply try. based on what you were saying before, i think you should be good enough. were the foids you've been with before actually attractive? if yes, then go for it. also everyone is nervous on their first cold approaches, trust me, you'll get way better after a few tries. don't let it kill your confidence though if you get rejected.
