I had to walk 3-4 blocks to drop off a package and I felt like everyone that was outside was staring at me, despite it being completely untrue logically

The only guy I spoke to was extremely nice and told me to have a nice day

Maybe I should walk daily for exposure therapy

It's brutal how fucked my subconscious is

I was telling myself that it's impossible that everyone is staring but the physical heat from anxiety kept rising.

And the post office workers were nice af, some guy smoking outside was nice af. My brain is just fucked.

My social anxiety is moderate, I can force myself to go do things but I feel uncomfortable 90% of the time I'm out unless it's with family

I'm not like a 24/7 shut in or anything

kind of just takes the edge off anxiety from what i've heard

makes you more relaxed and aloof

Damn bro i’m sorry it got to that point.

I go to the gym, and i’m starting school again soon, so mine isn’t as bad as it used to be.

But i haven’t had a single friend for 2 years, because i don’t know how to initiate or connect with people.

In my personal experience, the social isolation caused by social anxiety, will at some point drive you so insane, that the anxiety caused from isolation will be worse than the feeling of exposing yourself to social anxiety.

its moderate, i still push myself to do stuff but i do think its life ruining like you said, no friends despite being good at talking/not awkward, im actually really good at making people laugh but I avoid social situations

now I workout at home because at the gym I felt like people were watching me and making fun of my form, etc ☠️ it was so hard to concentrate

alright thanks ill look into it, if something could remove like 50% of my anxiety i swear i'd do so well in life
