I wasn’t very attractive in my early teen years — mid LTN at best, really skinny, average height. However, I was happy and had a decent friend group.


About two years ago, I was invited to a party. There was a girl there I didn’t even like, but my friends thought it would be funny to ask her, behind my back, if she would kiss me for £10. She said no. I can only imagine she said “ew” or something similar. I didn’t find out this happened until later, when they brought it up during an argument. That led me to slowly distance myself from them.


A few months later, BP found me. Since then, I’ve “ascended” from LTN to high MTN. I also had a growth spurt and now I’m 6'3. I just turned 18.


Along with BP, I cut off most of my social interactions around the same time I finished school. Now, the only socialisation I get is at work, and I don’t really connect with the people there. I did keep one friend, but I moved cities and now he lives an hour away.


What do I do? Where do I find people I’d actually enjoy spending time with — or even a girl — without using some shitty dating app? I’m not promiscuous.
