Whether or not you like it, social media impacts you, in every aspect of your life, even offline

Girls who might be open to conversation are too busy talking to orbiters online
Trying to make friends is harder if you have a lame (or none at all) social media
People are always trying to plan activities around social media pics

If you use it, you are consumed by it. It's an addiction and fucks with your mind, you can't help it

The creators of social media knew what they were doing, and they knew they would be impacting you in a way that wasn't good, and what is their consequences, NOTHING
and what are you gonna do about it, NOTHING

Instead most people, even on this site, will say "that's their right, yay for freedom"

but where's your freedom? it seems social media has impeded upon that. you are not "free" when using social media in the slightest

Whenever something fun/weird happens IRL now, instead of engaging in it everyone takes out their phone and starts recording+sharing it on social media so they can get more attention. It kills the vibe because now the person being recorded feels like he has to act a certain way for the camera.
