How much does soft tissue thickness effect the outcome of jaw implants, and what are the factors that make up this thickness

not even researches thought about your question, even your surgeon will say don't know or some BS answer if u call him rn

, tf you expect autists here to know

brah just last 2 years CHEWING effects on morphology were documented properly, an action humans be doing thousands of years.

in general expect asymmetry, lower height of lower jaw, higher height of upper face, wider jaw lower genial, forward and downward clockwise rotation of maxilla but defiantly asymmetry since your shit is implanted and the tissue has to slide around it instead of morph it (last part is just speculation)

So this is what to expect with implants?

no this is what to expect from strengthening of softer tissue surrounding jaw and temporals, but when you have implants, that could result in differences in where the muscle insertions are positioned with more activation, it is best to leave shit where the doctor left it and not mess with the muscles and their relationship with the skeleton much
