The right side of my hip slightly sticks out more than my left. Nothing major just slightly bothers me. What might be the root cause for this?

Yeah, so there are only two solutions for two separate problems. First problem(what I think it is), it's a muscular and tendon imbalance(muscles and tendons affect the way the bones are placed), and can only be corrected through stretches and exercises to strengthen the hip flexors and legs to pull them back into place. Second problem, it's a genetic and more permanent thing that can only be fixed surgically. I don't think this is as likely, but just in case it is, I don't want to give you false hope. I remember this actor named McKenna Grace had a genetic imbalance, and she needed to fix it surgically, which basically caused her not to be able to do any serious athletics. What I would do is...They seem to be perfectly straight

Yes, definitely looking like a bone problemmuscle imbalance is usually the issue but you could have a hiked hip genetically
do you know if its the bone?
Muscular imbalance and preference for one side, like standing on one leg consistently, or using one side more in sports. I would do a bunch of stretches and exercises to try to correct this. Just to further assess this, are your feet perfectly straight, rotated in, or rotated out like duck feet? The right side of my hip slightly sticks out more than my left. get some X-rays to see if one side is higher by a real measurable amount bone-wise and refer to what @mohito said in the meantimeYes, definitely looking like a bone problem

What I would do is try the exercises for like 6 months on your own. If this doesn't work, go to a Physical Therapist. If that still doesn't work, get an X-ray. The reason I wouldn't do that sooner is that doctors will typically try to sell treatment they will make money off of, not the easiest solution for your health. And if it is really that serious for you and you've weighed what's more valuable, go through with the surgery. Hope this helps brotha, hope you find a solution good luck.
