Some people talk like Accutane is the only solution for acne...

The "acne.org regimen by Dan Kern" has an even higher success rate than Accutane. The downsides, of course, are that you have to keep following a strict skincare routine and the fact that you are dependent on the products (or actually just one product so to speak...). But this regimen most likely has the highest success rate to make people 99-100% clear of acne given that they do it right and consistently.

I would however recommend the short contact therapy version of this regimen (just ask if you want to know that means..) to avoid over irritating the skin. Also if you decide to do it it's your own decision and make sure you research it well to avoid making mistakes... (looks up videos on youtube for tips and tricks and shit).

Also keep the products in the fridge to make sure they don't stop working after a couple of months as happens with some people who have left the products in too much moisture or heat too many times for too long......

In the video below is the guy (Dan Kern) who made this system. This is an old video and tbh he's very "beta" but that's irrelevant lol.....

True tbh.
In addition to what you said, tretinoin, vitamin C and AHA/BHA can help tremendously, specifically to remove post-acne hyperpigmentation and small scars.
They helped me a ton and saved my skin

True. Can I ask what is your current skincare routine?

In the morning I use a cleanser, the vitamin C serum from The Ordinary and apply moisturizer after 20-30 minutes. If I have to go out I apply sunscreen instead of the moisturizer.
In the evening I cleanse my face (same as in the morning), apply tretinoin (it's just Retin-A with a different name) and, after 20-30 minutes I moisturize.

Once a week, I use The Ordinary AHA+BHA solution in the morning instead of the vitamin C, I leave it on my face for 8-10 minutes then rinse it off.

Now I barely get acne anymore, and thanks to the Vitamin C serum my post-acne marks are slowly, but surely, fading away.

If I could only keep one product though, it would be tretinoin/Retin-A, that thing is a looksmaxer's dream come true, every skinmaxxer should use it

some people get excessive dryness so a moisturizer 20 min after will help with the dryness without countering the tret benefits
