Could the size of atoms change and we wouldnt know it? Imagine this one atoms is now the size of a tennis ball but if it all happens at once then the relative size of a tennis ball to an atom remains the same would all the law of the universe hold up as all the ratios are still the exact sams

If the universe was infinite would there even be a difference? Dk if it is infinite bc it’s not proven for obvious reasons but isn’t size only tangible in relativity so something else

The universe is not infinite

The universe is not infinite
You can’t just state that in a definitive manner with absolutely no good evidence to support it

I personally am not sure because literally nobody is, it’s a possibility, learn to leave room for nuance shithead

Retarded question, that would be a sizeup of about a billion. and how do you imagine chemical bonds to stay together like this??
Imagine the distance of the nuclei to the electrons, a bond would take unimaginably much energy and an electron cloud could never exist. And with the loss of density, forget gravity. Youre gone.
Oh btw, light would also be absorbed way differently.

The strongest argument as to why this is impossible is, that matter cant be created nor destroyed.

Chill nigga. Science says the universe is expanding, meaning it's not infinite but we can't see outside for many reasons

My bad g I am cortisol enriched today as I had to wake up early lol

Yeah I’ve heard that too, but I’ve also heard that doesn’t discredit the possibility of an infinite universe it may just imply the matter is limited or the universe is becoming a greater infinite (I thought the second idea sounded kinda weird but apparently there is different scales of infinity)
