Something that really irks me is when users post threads that just link to external social media

For example, like Instagram or TikTok. I usually tend to skip those threads because it’s just lazy no-effort reposting and attempt to reaction farm. I prefer to browse this forum instead of mainstream social media so why would I want to engage with or watch your repost when I come here because I don’t want to view that kind of garbage in the first place? I could even tolerate it if you downloaded the content and attached it to your thread, because it would count as making some sort of effort instead of directly linking to the site externally..
