I've bought two mastic gums from different brands in order to grow my masseter muscles, both turned out to be only slightly tougher than regular chewing gum... Jfl rip $40

What is something tougher that I can purchase/make? Something that I can chew with near 100% force would be optimal, replicating how our ancestors were biting raw meat or through thin bones. (I'm not schitzo enough to rawmeatmaxx but I've thought about it)

Might just start fucking chowing down on a kitchen towel but id prefer not to look like a fucking retard... anything for the lower third I suppose... Thx

Freeze the mastic gum and then it will harden

Freeze the mastic gum and then it will harden
Tried this. Literally becomes brittle. A risk to breaking a brace. Then becoming normal once it moistens and warms up in my mouth... Takes only a minute or two aswell.

generally speaking orthos suggest not eating tough foods that might cause braces to detach but orthos are morons anyway.

lots of people freeze chewing gum, maybe there are some other things that could be use to harden them idk. i do freeze chewing gums and fixed my subhuman right eye (i always chewing on the left side)

Microplastics central, no thank you
many chewing gums have some form of plastic in them and floss and brushes also contain forever chemicals + plastic.

since you are wearing braces make sure to clean properly between the gums etc, many people risk cavities for this exact reason

I have a malloclision on my right side. Tldr since childhood I've chewed on left just like you (my fucking mother doesn't believe in dentists never took me for 14 years). I can also tell my right side is slightly worse but I have slight chewing pain in my right molars.

Freezing mastic gum didn't work for me either. Just brittle, then normal in 2min

Used to not clean my braces (until a week ago :lul:), parents never told me to brush as a kid. Might sound disgusting but never got told I had bad breath. Good oral health ig? never had a single cavity my whole life. Maybe it is that damn flouride after all... Locked in on fixing my yellow teeth now anyway

experiencing pain while chewing or applying pressure probably mean gum disease or tooth decay, since you have braces it probably is gum disease so i would make sure to floss with superfloss or interdental picks, just brushing or water flossing isnt enough. you should also use an antiseptic mouthwash if you can (idk if people under a certain age can use something with cloredixine inside). no abrasive toothpaste either, best option is something with 10% micro hydroxyapatite (remineralizes the enamel better than fluoride and whitens them) or any toothpaste to remineralize the enamel.

tbh tower as dumb as it is might be the best option, mostly because its cheap and of course reusable

from this i get that you actually have invisalign and not normal braces? either way you should floss if you arent already

i would say probably mostly diet, eating sugar + soda before going to bed and not brushing completely fucks your teeth

it did work for me, my right eye doesnt look fucked anymore. i saw that if i actually let the gum dry after chewing it, it remained more tough for more time

also even if you dont have cavities you can still have gum disease which will cause bone resorption, take oral hygiene seriously

Thz for the advice. I'll bought some of this shit today I'll look into the rest. The pain is because I got a fucked up tooth. My 4th on the top is out of line like on the middle of the roof of my mouth. Fucked my mewing when I was younger could've been a slayer by now

Self litigating braces. I'm flossing now but I wasn't using an interdental pick to get in-between and in

I'm taking it serious now. So. Freeze the gym. Freezer, not fridge right? Chew it till it's not brittle. Let it dry? If you could please clarify a little thank you bro 😊

For me, just letting it dry at room temperature after chewing it for a bit seems to be working better. Its also worth noting that my chewing gums might be different, im chewing like 8+ pieces (they are small) at the same time and they are not exclusively meant for training the jaw, just regular fluoride and calcium rich and anti bacterial type of chewing gums. I also chew very fast, like i chew fast until I start get tired then take a break etc
