When you read a guide, post, or an answer to a question on this forum, something to keep in mind is this is not an open source information wiki.
This is not wiki.looksmax.org. This is lookmax.org. When you read information on this forum, it is not forum consensus or vetted information, it is the poster's own opinions and beliefs.

This may sound obvious saying it out loud, but the general attitude of this forum is "This person has made a well formatted well researched guide, everything in it should be trustable." They read the posts the same way they might read a genuine open source community run wiki.

Thank God this person formatted this post horribly, or else more people would've read it and it would've caused real issues. Apart from this post being eye-cancer it's littered with Opinion.
This post is not an information piece, it is an opinion piece, it is simply the original poster's opinion, not the raw information that the original poster has in his head; that he just wants to share with everyone.

When you read posts on this forum, take it as OPINION, not INFORMATION.
Again, this seems obvious, but many of the attitudes of the people on this forum goes against this, they take everything as law until proven otherwise.

i used to add warnings at the top of “guides” that were blatantly incorrect/not based on any literature, but it’s way too much effort to validate all the info on this forum.
