Unable to find propranolol via regular UGL steroid markets (no surprise ofc)

How can I get my hands on propranolol in the UK?

Why would you want to use propranolol? It's very easy to get prescribed by a doctor, just say you have presentation/performance anxiety

In a client facing role and I despise the symptoms I get with speaking, mostly high heart rate.

Besides, I read a v good post here (can no longer find) on how propranolol keeps you cool as a cucumber when pitching in interviews etc

I don’t want to go through the doctor route yet since I’d have to go private

Try with highstreetpharma, they may have it

have you tried clonidine?

Getting a GP appointment today is like winning the lottery

It’s a beta blocker, it won’t get rid of your anxiety. You’ll know it’s there but you won’t have the physical symptoms

What’s that?
I’m not sure if that’s good or not. But anything to help with anxiety is worth a shot especially if it doesn’t require drinking a ton

It’s a drug basically used for the same thing

It really helps with that since it stops the negative feedback loop in your brain as no physical symptoms of anxiety will manifest. Like trembling voice/hands, sweating, high heart rate/bp. However, try running even 20 meters, and you'll feel like you're out of breath if you haven't built a tolerance. That's why I just take (RC) benzos instead nowadays, but those are much harder to get a prescription for.

Is it that bad in the UK? I only had to call the office and talk to the assistant, and my GP prescribed it to me w no appointment needed. Same with finasteride/dutasteride.

Here's the thread
I went to a giga nerd school where half the people in my CS classes were pitching whatever dogshit MVP they came up with to some dumb fuck nepos at whatever random VC like they were Billy Mays while the other half aced interviews like they were Patrick Bateman. These fuckers aren't born with an unshakeable confidence; they're just chemically enhanced.
And that's what I want. Cool as a cucumber, relaxed, smooth and not being fucked over by the body's responses to stress and anxiety. Sounds like a golden drug

Doctors like to gatekeep drugs here, getting your hands on shit is pretty fucking annoying. Even Cialis requires you to get approval, albeit just a quick conversation with you and the pharmacist

Good post. One thing to add though, propranolol is not a magic drug that'll suddenly make you more sociable/confident with girls or people in general in casual settings. If you're low inhib by nature, you won't suddenly become a charismatic NT god. Taking propranolol alone will not take that inhibition barrier "edge off". Only benzos, alcohol or phenibut will do that.
