Might have to try not looking at it the first couple times. The texture curiously enough isn't disgusting at all. Feels nothing like it looks. Sometimes they'll even have little feathers starting to poke out their skin. They taste good I promise, and they're cheap.

I remember when I was homeless this Khmer girl invited me to sit down and eat a bunch of them with her. Both of us ex ice users. In those days I was always very hungry so I was like fuck it. I had like four of them with her and ever since then I've had them once in a while whenever I've stayed in Cambodia.

Fried crickets are very good too. They got their own Khmer seasoning they lightly put on them and they taste kind of like bacon.

I believe I had a worse experience growing up in Visayas because I'd always be pick on by kids 5yrs older than me but big cities don't because white people are common now

Hmm, well you should take a journey through the US if you're a citizen here too. Go to Alaska and work a couple months in one of the fish processors then hit the big cities.

It will be a good experience. You didn't grow up here so that's a plus. Don't lose the practicality you grew up with where you came from because the people in America can be dumb and fake, regardless of how educated they might be.

The people who grew up here have compromised values when it comes to certain things. They are fake and petty. And a lot of immigrants who come here get sucked into that. They begin pretending to care about things they don't realize they actually don't care about, just like white Americans. Their faces contort over things that should never be given so much thought.
