South Indian entry into Canada makes Indians the second highest earning

They used to be behind whites but since recent wave of immigrants from south India they have overtaken them in just a year. Canada used to be full of Sikhs but is now more diverse with the recent immigrants coming from states like Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. They are also now the fastest growing community in Canada. Thoughts?

The south ones who immigrate are usually the cream of the top, the ones who usually immigrate from the north are the low educated ones, so it makes sense that the south Indians are growing rapidly.

I still see a lot of punjabis only but that’s maybe because I’m from Brampton, when I go to my uni town, most of the Indian population is southern Indian so I can see it. Honestly I would much rather have them than the punjabis, they seem to integrate better and if not that they at least don’t cause any chaos. The Punjabi students are truly the bottom of the barrel for the most part, they can’t even properly speak the language of the country they’re emigrating to
