Quant is very competitive but the path to entry is more defined, strong math/CS background, some programming, maybe a master's or PhD, and you're on the right trackz the roles are also more widely distributed across the industry whereas top Al research is concentrated in a few highly competitive
institutions like DeepMind, OpenAI, Anthropic that arr extremely difficult to get into.
