even the people seem peaceful (Ive never been there) but even still whenever Ive seen videos or vlogs of others
going there the locals always seemed serene and untroubled.

They must also have a staggeringly low Crime rate too i would assume

Maldives is pretty high end tho like I would think most people fall short of the Tax bracket to even Stay there on a
casual basis like they would at a usual Resort

Also to your original point I think they may intend to develop Sri Lanka into another Maldives it would make

yeah they are trying to do that , i actually did my initial schooling from anadaman , it is also being developed into a beach town kinda place for foreign tourists back then when i was a kid there was'nt anything like that , but it has a fuck ton a potential
