Stacy made up a story about kissing one of my best friends

So I was at a party a while ago and this Stacey which was around a 7.5-8/10 irl was talking to me and a few of my guy friends.We ended up talking about one of our friends somehow.This Stacey had known that we were friends with him and she told us that she kissed him before while no one had brought up anything about it.She also said that his hair was nice unprovoked as well.We ended up teasing her by making the joke that he banged her which she denied.
The fucked up part is that the day after I asked him repeatedly if he kissed her and he said it never happened.This guy is like a 5.75-6psl and average height.Honestly don't know if this stacy was being serious or not but I know she is high class and definitely not a slut or anything.I guess I'll leave it for you guys to decide.
