Stages of Oversocialization on an Looksmax, any forum, any board
(Note - Oversocialization is a concept from Ted Kaczynski's manifesto: "Industrial Society and it's Future". A basic definition of oversocialization can be synonymous with "brainwashing", except it is unintentional, with no perpetrator but the self. That is, when a person is in some sort of echochamber community, the principles of it become more and more important and concrete, a law to live by.)
Stage 1 - New User or a Guest
In this stage, the user is new to the community. Depending on the communities he browsed before, his posting style -- as well as the opinions he shares, will paint a red flag on him(bluepilled). Because of the crass nature of looksmax, a new user's posts and threads will most likely be ignored or met with insults.
Stage 2 - Lurker
Many users will decide to leave at this first stage after he gets his psl rating. However, the lurker understands that he is not properly socialized in the lookism culture. The lurker chooses to stay, while remaining silent and taking in the "values" of the community(blackpill).
Stage 3 - Regular Poster
At this point, the user is well socialized within the community. He knows enough about the culture ant the community to make quality posts without receiving ridicule and will hold his ground in debates with others. Knows importance of the basic concepts of a man - face, height, frame, NT-ness, money, status, level of norwood.
Stage 4 - Slightly Oversocialized
Now that the user has long since blended into the community. Knows and understands the blackpill. He feels the importance of keeping his community in check. While he is a regular poster, the slightly oversocialized user spends much time going out of his way to call out new users who "don't belong" (e.g. bluepill cuck, cope), and reports content that goes against the rules(JFL kike shills).
Stage 5 - Oversocialized
The user has now become oversocialized. All he sees now is "the cancer" affecting forum he used to love. Regularly calling out the "cancerous" posts, posting about how water is wet or we have this thread everyday, pleading for moderation to step up its game and ban all the new bluepill niggers, the oversocialized poster eventually snaps.
Stage 6 - Shitposter
In the shitposter's eyes, the forum has long since been ruined forever by "cancerous bluepill niggers(or lookism/redditors)". He lashes out and rebels against the community by acting smug and insulting users left and right. As far as the shit-poster concerned, most of the users shittung up his forum are bluepill niggers who "aren't worth his time". The shitposter had tried, in vain, to salvage the community through vigilante moderation (public shaming), but it was no avail. Shitposting, however, yields great result in his eyes. The moderation team who did nothing to stop the cancer hates him, and the "bluepill niggers" hate him as well. He reveals in the butthurt that he causes others, as he now hates the forum (or at least, very annoyed).
Stage 7 - Depressed and Addicted
Since around stage 2 of the oversocialization process, the user has been addicted to the comminty. Shitposting has become boring for the oversocializated user, but he is still addicted to refreshing the front page, trying to find good posts in a wide sea of shit(shout out to paki and indian posters). The user has become depressed junkie, The LDAR incarnate, and reverts back into a lurker. The user will now remain lurker for the rest of his time on the forum, or he chooses to move on to a different forum/board and start the whole process over again.
