You read that title right. Dear Confidants, associates and complices of the moneymaking & success subforum --- allow me to borrow a minute of your time to tell you about unlocking the secrets of the universe like the mysterious wizard you've always wanted to be. (Don't be a lazycell and take the time to read) (if you are a lazycell, read the TLDR)
1.Esotericism and it's history
2.Rant about modern Esotericists
3.How will studying esotericism help YOU
All right boyos, buckle up
Passage 1: a history lesson from Nbernical the greatest grey himself
The study of esotericism has been dated as far back as to ancient Egyptian and Greek civilizations. Here, certain individuals dedicated themselves to studying the mysteries of the universe. Egyptian esotericists were particularly dedicated to this ultimate goal, and Egypt has been one of the most important places for esotericists. If you've never thought about the pyramids as more than just a tomb for dead pharaohs, then i don't blame you, because the true meaning of the pyramids is one of those niche conspiracies that people call you crazy for, i'll spare you the research and i'll tell you straight up. There's many secrets hidden in the pyramids, like how it encodes the relative sizes of moon and earth, or how ancient Egyptians hid Pi and Phi in it's dimensions. This hidden worship of numbers and stars has been going on for a long time. I'll include two pictures from my own notebook:
(in dutch because i'm from Flanders)
Another simple example of these people who were completely obsessed with numbers was Pythagoras, who taught to his followers that "all is number". These people were SO obsessed with these numbers, they believed numbers had cosmic significance. Were they onto something?
Passage 2: I know you're thinking i might just be some crazy conspiracy guy, but i'm not. I know the conspiracy community has got a bad rep because of all these middle aged moms and dads but they're not all like that. I like to imagine myself as this guy:
not this guy:
from what i've seen, the community surrounding research for these esoteric subjects are made up of hippies who love the whole 'energy' shtick, and a lot of AI slop videos. This sucks, and it makes the whole community look stupid.
Passage 3: Whats in it for YOU
Many succesfull people are involved in esotericism and occult practices, a perfect example for this are the freemasons. Freemasonry has been tied to a LOT of U.S. presidents including George Washington himself. They come together in masonic lodges, where the lower ranked masons larp as wizards and where the high ranked masons actually sacrfice children. There are a ton of groups like the freemasons that indulge in occult practices, these groups are FULL of rich people, leaders, lawyers, doctors... Obviously these succesfull people know more than us, so maybe should try figuring these mysteries out too and indulging in occult practices.
TLDR: For centuries, people have been worshipping number and indulging in occult practices, these people are in many cases succesfull, so YOU should do it too.
Thank you all for listening to my presentation, and i hope you start praying to Stonehenge
