i have just popped my first 1mg finasteride pill this morning at 21 which i will be taking daily.

the past couple of weeks i have noticed my thick, long hair has been thinning (diffuse thinning) and the temple region of my hair has also slightly receded. i could see my scalp through my hair in certain lighting. it was brutal to acknowledge i was actually balding, but it would've been worse if i had done nothing. my hairline is still very much in tact, and yesterday i buzzed my head 0 guard to lower stress, track progress easily, and just to restart my hair growth in general.

if i get any sides i'll just lower the dosage to 3x a week. i'm aware that its mostly nocebo, and there is a higher chance (~30%) of me getting sides if i genuinely believe that i will.

i'm glad that i have caught this on early and will not regret it.

fin blocks the enzyme (5ar) that turns test into dht. so no it does not fuck ur test

it raises your test, why would something that inhibits the conversion of test to another hormone lower it?

na, having extremely good results so far paired with oral minoxidil,
insane eyelash growth and most thinning has already stopped, past the shedding phase and now my hair is extremely healthy again
i now take oral fin + oral minox 3 times per week, and will continue to do so
