Started with Tret

This is how I used it:

—> cleanse face with centella light cleansing oil

After that I used the sandwich method, so moisturize first with BOJ dynasty cream.

Waited for 15-30 minutes.
—> Applied ketrel tret from Portugal

I used a pea size amount.
After application I immediately applied the same moisturizer I mentioned before. (Applied it a nighttime of course).

This is my first time using tret.
I used the COSRX retinol 0,1 before for 2 months.

Was it the right idea to switch or was going from 0,1 retinol to 0,3 a better idea before hopping on tret?

A few month, it's hard to say exactly since I used retinol before.
But it is a long term game.

You can go straight to 0.5% Tret if you want. Just don’t immediately apply it every night. Start with twice a week and bump up as your skin can handle it.

Sandwich method is good for reducing irritation when starting Tret but it’s more effective when applied to clean dry skin.

Nowadays I wash my sunscreen off at night, let my face dry completely, apply Tret and then moisturize over it. To compensate for not immediately moisturizing after washing your face before Tret, incorporate peptides/humectants/other hydrating methods in your morning routine.
