One thing I've come to notice is that I'm pretty good at making new friends, growing my network, and kinda just hanging back in groups and listenting even if I'm not super close with a lot of people, I get invited to a lot of things. I'm only average looking I'd bet I have a much larger social network than most users here.

So I'm gonna start documenting things I observe such as the most commonly talked about topics, mannerisms, best ways to introduce, talk etc for myself ofc but also for some of the users here because I've realized if you grew up with no friends it certainly won't be easy to make them.

As someone who became pretty popular over the years, I'll offer some insights. What you say isn't as important as your body language and how you say it. Also most "normies" don't have good social skills. They're incredibly rude and self-centered, terrible listeners, pathological liars, bad at communicating and reading others emotions. Everyone is competing for status and most interactions are actually just mog battles

Id actually agree, but the problem many users here face is not knowing how to act around that or blend in/stop overthinking
