goal is something that will work for 4 years without breaking which my macbook m1 has done until now. budget is up to 1.5k tbh, at first i was gonna go all out but no point in doing that with money that could go towards tuition.

Considering the school usage i would just get another air with their best in class battery life and you’re already deep in their ecosystem.
