Starting oral minoxidil in addition to topical (foam) minoxidil and 1mg finasteride

My hairline is in its worst spot, and I don't know if i'm responding to topical minoxidil.

I started finasteride like 10 months ago, and topical minoxidil 8 months ago.

My eyebrows are thicker. I have tiny hairs around my lower eyelids. And there are lots of tiny hairs on my temples.

But there's no actual full size hairs coming in at the temples, there is still receding and thinning.

I'm going to incorporate oral minoxidil into the mix. Does anyone have experience with it? I'm hoping to minimize a shed by continuing topical minoxidil instead of just cutting it out instantly. After like 6months I think I can cut out topical minoxidil.

Yeah 0.25mm every day before topical min application
Havent done it in a while though. such a hassle.

Probably too frequent, try something like 0.5mm every 5-7 days.

Also if you want to go nuclear consider RU58841, if not consider getting compounded topical dut + minoxidil from minoxidilmax

the only micro needle length that showed significant growth when coupled with topical minoxidil is 1.5mm once per week, anything higher or lower has no proof behind it.

But yeah if I'm doing 0.5MM that should only be weekly.

I would skip RU on the days you microneedle. Ru and topical minoxidil can be used together no issue.
0’5mm is very shallow not much scarring risk

What about tretinoin, it can just work in layers i'm assuming? Tretinoin, then min, then ru no problem?

Yep that’s fine. Use a low concentration of tret 0.025 even dilute with a little moisturiser if you need to then after 20 mins apply topicals

Using tretinoin with topical min will activate it, you can add microneedling as well.

Let it set in maybe, otherwise might obstruct a little, probably not a big difference
