Starting retinoids ( Tazarotene 0.05 percent

I’m starting tazarotene for the first time and have never used any retinoids before, so this is completely new to me. I’m planning to introduce it slowly and carefully to see how my skin reacts, especially since tazarotene is known to be quite strong compared to other retinoids.


I’ve seen Salludon say that you don’t need a moisturiser when using it however he lives in Pakistan where the climate is hot and humid. I live in Scotland in the United Kingdom much colder drier so would a moisturiser be needed ? Lmk

If anyone needs help sourcing retinoids in uk or EU dm me for source the cost is between £18-£20 for the Tazarotene depending on whether u get 0.05 percent or 0.1 percent

Well tbh both work the main reason I’m using a zinc oxide sunscreen is cus chemical sunscreens just don’t go well with my skin and because minoxidil I applied to my eyebrows I have some irritation already from it ( dry supra) so I just prefer to use something that’s not gonna burn or affect my skin but La Roche posay sunscreen is good too
