Today (5 april) i started my waterfast after my dinner and i am going for next monday
6'1
First day: 165 LBS

last time i checked my bf was like 17%( just ordered a smart scale to get better info)

i post everyday when i wake up the weight results and at the end after photos

I water fasted once for 35 days, went from around 180 lbs to around 145 lbs, and went from 25% body fat to 22%. This is normal for water fasting; my results were typical of most others'. It's a shit-tier weight-loss method. Use a protein-sparing modified fast with micronutrient supplements if you want to drop fat quickly.

interesting. I saw a youtuber do water fast and he also lost a lot of muscle, that's why I'd guess that heavy lifting while doing it is crucial if you don't want to cuck yourself. but his face leaned out nicely so it might work for OPie here.

btw what's your test OPie and why are you not gymcelling like your life depended on it? and wtf do you eat? sugars/carbs/processed shit?

Lifting heavy while fasting will be counterproductive since you're not supplying your body with the amino acids it needs to repair damaged muscle tissue.

not a biologist but can't the body synthesize what it needs from fat? it's only a week. in the past the biggest exertions happened when starving to obtain food. how about OMAD with lungs liver meat?

If you lift without eating protein, the only amino acids your body will have available to repair your muscle will be the ones it takes from... your muscle. :feelskek:

Professional bodybuilders have been using protein-sparing modified fasts for decades to get shredded quickly. They work. I've personally had much better results from them than water fasts.

He doesn't need to do OMAD or eat gizzards. He needs a calorie deficit with enough protein spread evenly throughout each day and training stimulus to preserve lean tissue. This can and should be done with normal low-fat low-carb high-protein food.

You shouldn't be fasting at all with corona as makes ur immune system weaker and also more then 5 days not recommended. But u will feel great when you eat again just don't go back to eating normal amounts straight away. You're insulin sensitivity gets set back allot. You need to ease into eating ur original amount of food. If ur doing this purely for weight loss though would recommend u just eat sensibly and exercise down to 12 percent then start gaining muscle and u burn more calories in a resting state. The whole thing about people with low muscle mass cutting fat is retarded ur gna look bad lean anyway and meanwhile u can gain more muscle, which then increases ur metabolism and daily caloric intake.
