do the cons of starving yourself during puberty outweigh the pros? im aware it can stunt bone growth, but its an easy way to lose bodyfat fast. ive been spamming adderall and eating barely anything for about a month now and have lost 10 pounds, but i cant get my mind off how it could affect me long term. i have what i believe is a decent supplement stack (d3, k2, magnesium, zinc, omega-3s, vitamin c).

bro don't starve yourself go on a calorie defcit as bonegrowth is important

the main reason i dont want to go on a deficit is because i hate having to take the time to plan out every single thing im gonna eat in a day. literally just me being lazy as shit so nobody to blame but myself, ill try reaching a daily intake of like 1.5k - 1.6k and see how it works for me after 2 - 3 months. thx
 
Dont do it unless ur a fatty

If ur overweight then go in a deficit, but dont torture urself either

i hate to ask this because i know its a dumb question and the answers out there somewhere but how much of a deficit? i did some research and came to the conclusion that its best if i go for 1500 - 1600 daily intake but i want to double check. im 100% willing to start exercising daily and focusing on my diet, i wouldnt be on this forum if i wasnt, i just dont know what to do

Depends on meds, tbh im not that well educated on the topic. I’ve been skinnier most my life. When my bf% got «too high» i just started eating how i felt like and i dropped down in weight pretty fast.

adderall and zoloft (i dont take the zoloft anyways :b)

just dont be lazy or take reta. and dont starve yourself while your still growing you will just destroy your hormones, also im pretty sure starving yourself will begin to make your body to "burn" your muscle alot more than a calorie deficit would then youll still be fat but have no muscle. so skinny fat.

yeah, makes sense. diet i can do, but as for workouts, do i prioritize weight lifting or cardio? or maybe both??

Pros you get to a low bf cons lose muscle mass and a bit of devolpment
