I have been hearing about people (in attempt to lose face fat and body fat overall) simply not eating or eating very little in order to either lose weight fast or reduce water retention. Let me clear this up, when your body gets under 1500 calories a day you start to retain ANY fat, calories, water you can get because you are quite literally starving your body. I have experience with this, after 4-5 days of under 1000 calories my face was bloated as SHIT. And I only lost maybe a quarter of a pound, but didn’t actually lose any fat. To lose weight, caloric DEFICIT dont fucking take away the nutrients you need to survive and grow. The only situation where this is sustainable is if you are obese, but if you are a somewhat normal weight do not do this.
