There could always be but it´s rare. To fail in materialistic life as a chad or any women is quite rare. So all these examples presented by hollywood is nothing but a fallacy to keep the bluepill stuffed in your throat. The chance of our good friend jack being dirt poor is slim to none.
If you have no friends or are looking from the outside in it may seem this way, but once you are acutally social circle maxxed status is very important. I went to a high school with ~4 very strictly defined groups, 1. cool kid group, smoked and drank when they were 12, party every weekend etc., 2. me and my group of friends, got along with cool kid group and partied every once in a while, 3. normies with no real group but hang out together (50% of people) 4. nerd incel tier people.
