If you are at some sort of school or college, status is literally everything. Women perceive looks also based on status as they are pretty fucking retarded in actually telling how attractive a man is lookswise and why he is/isn't attractive. I have several examples of this at my school: There are several chadlites with low status and all the girls I know think they look unattractive, creepy etc. Then there are also some high status normies that are seen as hot, interesting, attractive etc. Basically having status=having good looks and of course, the optimum would be having both. So guys, focus on statusmaxxing as well (Having a good taste in fashion, good hairstyle, going to parties, establish a well-respected social circle, making money etc.). Status gets more and more important in todays world, especially with the popularity of social media. Stop making exuses and start socializing.

Status matters until a an over 6 feet masculine prettty boy that just glowed up and doesn't have many friends cause of fake friends walks up on a bitch and she wanna get all shy and submissive immediately. I am not talking about "Aesthetics" here, I am talking about SMV. And I'm not talking about some social media star, I'm talking about your everyday guy with status at your school, college etc. If you are known to be charismatic, have cool friends, be intelligent, dress incredibly well then your SMV will go up like crazy. Women will then find you more attractive than maybe a higher PSL guy with low status, just because you provide the girl a better source for status than the higher PSL guy. A girl wants to brag about which guy she fucked and it is way better to brag about how she fucked that cool, well dressed guy that everybody knows than to say that she fucked that shy, low status but better looking dude. Admiration from their peers is incredibly important to women. Looks is not everything, everybody who says otherwise must be autistic or not have a proper social circle.
And of course, if you are below average looking then status won't save you.
