Post college the only way to farm a followers and status on insta (the only dating app) is to become some form of e celebrity - youtube channel/shorts/reels/tiktok/streaming etc
However the catch is, employers HATE employing people who could potentially ruin the reputation of their firm. I mean if you're a partner at a prestigious law firm would you hire (or even interview for that matter) the jestermaxxing lolcow who posts borderline thirst traps on tiktok or the guy with a minimal social media presence.
There's a gambit that exists between status maxxing (via the e-celebrity method) and a prestigous career - the former providing NT status halo but your livelihood being susceptible to an algorithm and whether or not you can retain the attention of an audience for decades+ and the latter a reliable income but can't statusmax outside of immediate social circle
The older I get the more i reluctantly come to the conclusion that follower farming/status maxxing only works in hs/college if you want any sort of credible career as an adult.
