I work in a Japanese restaurant where our main dishes are seafood we also sell sushi and let me tell you guys stay away.

The amount of processed shit in things like tempura prawn and stuff is insane and with fish like raw salmon be weary the are covered in plastic rubbish I have never seen so much plastic packaging this surely leaks microplastics into the meat.

Even look into those sushi pack look at that small soy packet or the ginger packet it's full of plastics and stuff..

AVOID unless you know for certain its fresh.

Everything is, you cannot avoid microplastics anymore sadly. The only way would be schizo effort in water filtration practices and off grid living. Even then it would be hard. Since I assume rain would contain, any streams or connected water to the ocean that flows a certain way.

You'd have to live very far away from any sort of human settlement or maybe relatively close to a few small ones

Find a way to self sustain independently, completely. Water source and filtration, manage your waste, find constant stream of food while eating a balanced diet, train to self-medicate, gather materials.

It would be extremely hard financially, legally, mentally and physically. Possible but at that point you've sacrificed way too much for it to be worth it

You'd have to cut off people too, previous interests, social connections etc.

There is no escape from the consumption of plastic. OP's paranoid and headed off-grid to a world of isolation.

Yeah. The legal shit too with buying land is something many don't think about. But yeah, just all around a challenge and an extreme solution. Although maybe in 10-20 years when everyone is dying from the plastic in their blood you'd have the last laugh lmao.
