Still can't get over the fact I'm gluten intolerant

I seriously consider this the biggest death sentence I have. It's such a social life killer. I know absolutely no man who is gluten intolerant that is slaying on a consistent basis. And I also don't know anybody who is dating a hot girl. I went to a gluten intolerance meeting in my city (very big...3million+ urban area) and all the men complained about getting no dates/girls...felt like an incel meeting

My life is truly a joke....you looksmax, then moneymax....then you think it's finally your turn to enjoy life and whoop....you become gluten intolerant out of the blue. What a joke, I hate my life

Nah, food intolerances are pretty common, just vastly undiagnosed. According to latest medical research at least 20% of people are gluten sensitive and 100% of people release zonulin (which trigger gut permeability) upon ingesting gluten.

The men were normal...some ugly some good looking but they all complained about getting girls

Can't cope with it....it's too big of a death sentence. I went to this meeting to see whether I was over reacting and it wasn't so bad but I only got a confirmation of what I thought. It's a huge death sentence for dating

Yeah no cure....I'm not celiac btw, I'm gluten sensitive (IgG delayed food sensitivity)....still it doesn't matter, have to follow a super strict gluten free diet
There won't be a cure for at least another 10 years....over for me

Imagine having to ask a girl to brush her teeth before kissing you because otherwise she would harm you. What girl would accept this bullshit? Imagine her drinking a beer and then wanting to kiss you but she can't because she would cross contaminate you.
But this is just an example....you basically can't do anything in life if you are gluten intolerant.

i know this might seem like “bluepill” advice, but counting your blessings is the number one way to stay happy. This, in the grand scheme of things is very minor

I'm not celiac, I have a negative endoscopy, negative blood test and don't have the genes (HLA-DQ). I'm gluten sensitive though....it means I still can't eat gluten, I get brain fog, joint pain, migraines, systemic inflammation and all kind of problems because of this.

Only thing left to try is a fecal transplant...to try to regain oral tolerance to gluten. It sounds terrible and disgusting but being unable to eat gluten is such a death sentence that I'm willing to try anything

Good luck. This all sounds messy and pretty unfixable, but I admire the fact that you're taking care of yourself via restriction. I don't think I could.

My bacteria in my gut are pretty good, I tested my microbiota through very specialized and expensive stool test and the only thing wrong is that I have low Clostridia spp bacteria. The rest is good
So I don't think a fecal transplant would help me but who knows...

I'm not willing to eat gluten free forever....not because I can't do it, it's because of the social repercussions. As I said it's a huge death sentence...going to that meeting only confirmed it...the men were incels and they were average looking (some ugly some good looking).

I never thought about it until now, but I guess it makes sense for this to qualify as an incel trait if it prevents you from doing things most people can.

How old are you now? Brain fog is placebo sometimes. You might be forcing it but you don't know it, if that makes sense.

I'm 30yo...for me brain fog is not placebo, I have gluten related antibodies against my neural tissue and I also have a leaky blood brain barrier (which my doctor think is also gluten related) that help lymphocytes infiltrate the brain and create neuroinflammation through microglia cells activation. The cytokine storm that ensue creates the brain fog

If fecal transplant fails there is nothing else I could do, I'm condemned to a lifelong gluten free sentence. My social life and dating life would be utterly destroyed

I think you should do it. I definetly think you should.

Plus, if you're gonna lose everything whilst being pessimistic and thinking that the allergy will prevent you from ever slaying or just even staying happy again, then I don't even know why you would even consider the alternative (aka, not getting the fecal transplant).

How can I put it... your pain might be temporary for a moment, but your pride will be forever after it if it's a success.
