Hey, Ive been wondering how do you properly stimulate hair growth? Id like to thicken my eyebrows. I know minoxidil is a solution but imo it offers rather lackluster growth. Are there any alternatives?

Rosemary Oil

Rosemary oil is known for its ability to stimulate hair growth and improve scalp health.

How to Use:

  1. Scalp Massage: Mix a few drops of rosemary oil with a carrier oil like coconut or jojoba oil. Massage it into your scalp for about 5-10 minutes. Leave it on for at least 30 minutes before washing your hair. You can do this 1-2 times a week.
  2. Shampoo Addition: Add a few drops of rosemary oil to your regular shampoo. This can help promote hair growth and improve overall hair health.

Castor Oil

Castor oil is rich in ricinoleic acid and omega-6 fatty acids, which help in promoting hair growth.

How to Use:

  1. Direct Application: Warm up a small amount of castor oil and apply it directly to your scalp. Massage it in and leave it on for a few hours or overnight. Wash it out thoroughly with shampoo.
  2. Mix with Other Oils: Combine castor oil with other oils like coconut, olive, or argan oil to make it easier to apply and wash out.

Hair Thickening Shampoo

Hair thickening shampoos are formulated to give the appearance of thicker hair and often contain ingredients that strengthen hair strands.

How to Use:

  1. Regular Use: Follow the instructions on the bottle for the best results. Generally, you should use it every time you wash your hair, which could be daily or a few times a week depending on your hair type and needs.
  2. Combine with Oils: You can use rosemary oil and castor oil treatments in conjunction with hair thickening shampoos. For example, use the oils as pre-wash treatments and then wash your hair with the thickening shampoo.

Routine Suggestion

  1. Pre-Wash Treatment (1-2 times a week):
    • Apply a mixture of rosemary oil and castor oil to your scalp.
    • Leave it on for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
  2. Shampooing:
    • Use a hair thickening shampoo as directed.
    • You can add a few drops of rosemary oil to your shampoo for added benefits.
  3. Consistency:
    • Be consistent with your routine to see the best results. It may take a few weeks to notice significant changes.

Tips

  • Perform a patch test before using any new oil to ensure you don't have an allergic reaction.
  • Avoid applying too much oil, as it can be difficult to wash out and might make your hair look greasy.
  • Maintain a healthy diet and stay hydrated to support hair health

  • Ugh..
