A lot of people here obsess over whether they can still grow, but guessing based on age or recent growth isn’t enough. The only way to truly know if you have height potential left is to get an X-ray of your growth plates (specifically the wrist or clavicle). Here’s why it’s worth doing:

1. Growth Plates Determine If You Can Still Grow

• Your bones grow from epiphyseal plates, which fuse at different ages.

• Wrist growth plates close first (~16-18 years old).

• Clavicle growth plates can stay open until 25.

If your plates are still open, you still have a chance to grow naturally by optimizing sleep, diet, and HGH levels. If they’re closed, you’ll know that no amount of stretching or nutrition will increase your height.

2. No More Guessing or Wasted Effort

• If your plates are closed, you can stop coping with natural height growth and focus on other height-enhancing methods (elevator shoes, posture fixes, or even limb lengthening).

• If your plates are open, you know to maximize your potential ASAP before they fuse.

3. How to Get an X-Ray

• Private clinics: Costs £100-300 in the UK.

• NHS (UK) or Insurance (US): Free if you have a legit medical reason (like growth hormone concerns).

Bottom Line:

Spending a little money on an X-ray can save you years of false hope or missed opportunities to grow naturally. If you’re serious about heightmaxxing, getting an X-ray is a no-brainer.

water (good psa still)

The last growth zones that are really responsible for vertical growth are the spine. It is the spine and hip bone that should be checked to examine the growth zones and the stage of ossification.

Im aware, however full skeleton xrays can run you up 300-1000 depending on the clinic and most teenagers just cant fund that

however if you are referred by a GP for real reason ( just larp and say you think your HGH deficient and are worried about growth and its affecting your mental health or some bs ) it can be alot cheaper
