Stretching... Cope or Nah?

Particularly as a teenager. I find many conflicting sources when searching online, but i'm not that great at deciding which sources are more legitimate.

Any sort of benefits beyond flexibility?

It improves posture. I gained half a centimetre of night height doing it autistically for 3 months. Good cope though.
As long as your growth plates haven't infused, it works.

My gut reaction is to say do it, but that is absolutely just from having it basically hardwired into me after years of being a gymnast rather than being based off of any science.

It totally depends what you want to accomplish, but I'd recommend talking to a professional. It's been a long ass time since I've coached conditioning and flexibility. You want to learn how to do various somersaults? I'm your dude. But other than that, you want to talk to someone that didnt hide from those sessions.

I’m 17 and roll out at least twice a day. I remember reading somewhere on here intramuscular cracks can have an effect on growth.
 
Good if you can't do certain exercises like squats because of flexibility issues. Do people honestly think it can add height or something? JFL
