Also, op is using methylphenidate, not adderall. Adderall is a 75/25 mix of dextroamphetamine to levoamphetamine. Dextroamphetamine has more dopaminergic effects, meanwhile levoamphetamine has more noradrenergic effects (adrenaline, feeling of a "kick", like u gotta get off ur ass and work)

Methylphenidate has a way higher amount of Levoamphetamine than dextroamphetamine, so its EVEN MORE necessary to take days off, because having constantly elevated noradrenaline will prematurely age you and even lead to you developing anxiety down the line.
