I wouldn’t be on PSL and likely would have a good child good / teenage years if I didn’t stutter

Voice is one of the worst part about me. It's soft, weak, and i mumble and stutter alot. If i had a manly comanding voice and wasn't socially awkward my life would be much better

It’s over. Stuttering is brutal

my stuttering is severe, I can’t even start a sentence without my voice box deciding to just block, which causes me to be stuck on one letter. I’ll want to start a sentence that starts with a for example and randomly I’m stuck on a and I’m stuck saying aaaaaaaaaaaaaa like a broken computer

My dad had it and it went away by 14. I was wishing it would go away at 14 but if anything it only got worse 😔

My stutter when it flares up is as bad as the guys stutter in the video
Fucking brutal

You just gotta roll with it then, no point hiding something that can't be hidden

Funny thing is without a stutter, looking at that guy you'd think he's a masc low-inhib BBC

I tried to roll with it for years and it just doesn’t work. Normies are too Vicious to let it slide. That’s why I had literally 0 friends for entire years in elementary and is one of the reasons why I lost all my status so fast in HS.

You can’t take someone seriously if they stutter. If they trip over their own words 24/7, you can’t help yourself from laughing.

Even if you were a good friend I'd have to roast you over it occasionally

Stuttering is amplified by the fear of stuttering. You also tremble over your words bcs your mouth moves faster then the words your mind thinks (if that makes sense), to train away from your stuttering you can try to repeat what you want to say 3 times in your head before actually saying it.

I don't know if you have stuttering problems with particular letters or words but try this at least 30 minutes every day in front of the mirror (preferably conversations with others tho). I used to do this with my little brother in conversations when he was 10 and had stuttering issues to help him out.

So repeat it slowly 3 times in your head, and try saying it. After a couple of weeks, most of your stuttering will be gone.

Get speech therapy

That stuff is a waste of time Tbh. I’ve done it so many times and it’s ended up doing nothing
How many times and how long?

mis it something wrong with your brain?

I’ve had like 4-5 different speech therapists throughout my life and I’d average a year with one. Didn’t do me any good

It’s most definitely something in my brain
