My first bench was 95lb. Not bad, but pretty shit. My friend's first bench was 75. His doctor told him he has low t level.
The first bench says a lot about you. Whether you played sports as a kid, if you did pushups at home often, your genetic prowess. That first bench in high school determines the man you will be. If it's low, you are going to lose confidence before it began and stay like that forever. 95lb is average(not a good thing if you think about 80/20), but your fate is up to you. If you continue working out, you will probably go over the 800lb club to overcompensate.
If it's 135. Congratulations son, you made it. Even if you never work out again, it's a great confidence boost throughout life knowing your natural form is strong. Most who continue in fitness will continue as athletes focusing on agility and speed over strength because they don't have that insecurity.
This post is baloney and what I think of the first bench. There is no anecdotal data because I don't go around asking people their first bench. It is all made up in my head.
Really should've played football in high school
