Substitute for rice

I've been eating raw but like i don't fw raw eggs too much by themselves so i mix them with rice but ive been seeing alot of rice is bad propaganda I wanted to know like what could i switch it out for and is rice really bad

Is it because off the calories? I know a rice with 10cal per 100g you can find it in asian stores
