According to Israeli media reports, the Iron Dome systems fired two interceptor missiles at the Yemeni drone but failed to intercept it. The Houthi Samad drone was flying at a low altitude, which allowed it to escape Israeli defense systems.

According to a statement from Israel's emergency medical center (MDA), 22 settlers were injured by shrapnel following the impact of a Yemeni Samad drone in Eilat. Among the wounded, two men around 60 years old are in critical condition, seven sustained moderate injuries, and twelve suffered minor wounds caused by shrapnel.

The Israeli air force also issued a statement confirming that an investigation has been launched into the drone strike on the port city of Eilat.

The Houthi drone managed to hit the area despite two interceptor missiles being fired from the Iron Dome defense system both of which failed to neutralize the target.

Houthis hit some random building and injured/killed some random civilians, now Israel will kill 20 high ranking houthis in a precision missile strike on Yemen. What exactly is their end goal?
