Normal to cross anyone's mind. Everyone thinks about it. But acting on it is usually petty and leaves a stain on your legacy. Usually people who do it are weak. If they wanted sympathy out of it, they might get it. But who wants that when they aren't around to see it? They will never see you in a higher regard. They will either pity you, religiously condemn, or outright shit on you as a person. There's no "omg they must have been so emotionally deep and fought some tough battles". They will never think that. Part of life is suffering. To accept that and endure (and even prosper) is to be great. To cave-in is to lose the game to a bunch of normies.

The only socially acceptable suicide is if you're being physically tortured, you're really old and your health and mental ability is beyond saving (and your partner is already dead), for some kind of sacrificial cause, or living life to a dangerous extreme.

You can be an atheist or agnostic and still care about what people think of you after you are dead. They aren't correlated unless you're also a complete nihilist which is retarded.

Just to state: I'm neither of those things except maybe retarded.

Yes I'm Christian and i'm probably being retarded right now because that isn't what the bible says, we supposedly have a afterlife. idk

Just taking an approach assuming the OP is or isn't religious. Hence why I stated you might be condemned by people you respect and/or god (whichever matters to OP more).

ye but theoretically if there was no afterlife and death is like how we were before we were born; then you physically can't care about what people think after you are dead. you are legit dead. You can care right now in ur consciousness but that's only temporary (theoretically) and then afterwards you can't care

idk if i am making sense

but that's only if there is no afterlife for us, maybe there is!

bible never actually says killing yourself will result in you going to hell. but taking your own life is a sin and so you wont be able to repent if you already dead but does that mean if I say a bad word and then suddenly die I'm going to hell?

I don't think it works like that

God has divine judgement , the rules aren't set in stone, he can bend them for ur situation

suicide is probably really hard for him to forgive though

I mean imagine all the pain you would be causing to people around you, ur friends and family etc,

they will probably blame themselves for not noticing signs or helping you , brooootal

sounds retarded same rules should apply to everyone if were all treated so unfairly

but if the rules were set in stone like that, the scenario of randomly dropping dead and having no time to repent seems fair?

i mean the same rules are applied to everyone in the sense that God will divinely judge everyone

idk im an atheist but know a lot about the bible and it just all sounds unfair especially when you see so many people devoted in god and put all the trust in him and yet live such shit lifes
