Hi, I’d like some advice on how to improve my skin. I never really used sunscreen before because I was lazy, and I just realized my skin is very tanned, even during winter. Areas that don’t get much sun (like my upper thighs) are very pale, but my arms, neck, hands, and face are extremely tanned and sun-damaged. I’ve been using sunscreen for about a month but haven’t noticed much change. Should I be using something else besides sunscreen?

Use an umbrella everytime you go out, such a bitch method but it works. Also Kojic acid and Tranexamide. And if nothing works, Glutathione (IV) injection.

replace Kojic acid with Hydroquinone

Kojic acid should do the job if it’s just tan. Hydroquinone is a bit harsh for that, but if the kojic acid doesn’t work, then Hydroquinone + Tretinoin would be my go to

Yeah you can, but it can damage your skin if used for a long period of time without any other chemicals to counter the down sides
how can i counter the down sides? are there any other products that can mitigate it?

You can use Sudocreme 2-3 times per day.

I usually buy a creme that already has tret + HQ called Momela, without prescription.
