I used to be very religious but now I don't like the idea of it all so much. Religions prevent you from doing what you naturally want to do, and force you to do things you don't want to do based on beliefs

I'd like to see some sources on that, sounds interesting. The way Sv3rige explained it is that natural humans would want to be grateful to something higher than themselves due to the pure bliss and joy they'd constantly be in due to their primal lifestyle.
