Sungazing and Moongazing have been used for centuries to optimize health, mental clarity, and even facial aesthetics (More on that later).

1. What is Sungazing and Moongazing?

Sungazing involves looking at the sun during safe hours (sunrise/sunset), while moongazing is the practice of exposing yourself to moonlight during key lunar phases. These ancient techniques have been used for physical, mental, and spiritual enhancement.

Difference:

  • Sungazing: Energizing, mood-boosting, and improving skin and eyesight.
  • Moongazing: Calming, introspective, and beneficial for and sleep.

2. How Light Affects the Body

Light is crucial for biological processes. Sunlight boosts dopamine, vitamin D, and energy, while moonlight regulates melatonin, promotes relaxation, and improves hormonal balance. Proper exposure can optimize your circadian rhythm, leading to sharper cognition, better sleep, and aesthetic improvements. -gpt

3. Benefits of Sungazing

People who practice sungazing report massive benefits, including:

  • Improved eyesight: Some claim enhanced Vision, reduced Myopia, and sharper Focus.

  • Euphoric feeling: Increased Dopamin leads to elevated mood and mental clarity.

  • Higher energy levels: Many say (including me) that they feel more alert throughout the day.

  • Glowing skin: Sun exposure gives you a radiant, healthy look. (ONLY WITH HIGH FAT/CHOLESTEROL DIET OTHERWISE UV RAYS CAN BE HARMFUL)

4. Benefits of Moongazing

Moongazing provides a different set of powerful effects:

  • Deep sleep: Moonlight exposure helps regulate melatonin and circadian rhythms.

  • Better skin quality: Some believe moonlight rejuvenates the skin and improves complexion.

  • Emotional stability: Moon cycles influence emotions and enhance self-reflection.

  • Enhanced facial harmony: Many say moongazing promotes relaxation, reducing stress-related aging signs.

5. How to Safely Practice Sungazing

  • Best times: Only gaze during sunrise/sunset or generally when UV levels are moderate to low.

  • Start slow: Begin with 15 minutes and increase gradually up to an hour like me when I got sun here. Thats what I told @veggiedietcell to do and he can give out his experience so far on here :)

6. Best Ways to Moongaze

  • Best lunar phases: Full moon for emotional clarity, new moon for setting intentions.

  • Exposure time: 30-60 minutes is ideal.

  • Face and skin focus: Let the moonlight touch your skin for maximum aesthetic effects.

  • Music: Listen to Type O Negative.

7. Myths and Facts

  • Sungazing does NOT damage your eyes if done correctly.

  • Moongazing won’t turn you into a Vito Basso Werewolf, but it can enhance your sleep and awareness.

  • Both practices require consistency to see results.

8. Making These Practices a Habit

  • Just set a Schedule and stay consistence, dont forget to check my other guides and improve diet, etc.

i think you just have to be consistent with it, it also helps looking at distant objects ive heard, but mostly 30mins a day should be enough doing that for 3 months and the myopia should go away, atleast thats what he suggested.

Read every molecule, people think that sun will darken their skin colour but it is actually the opposite tbh, i lightened my skin colour a lot to a point that in my school everyone was asking me how I got lighter jfl, also my eyes are healthy, white sclera and no tiredness and pain( I used to suffer from these symptoms)

Should not be able to do that imo or maybe it can as there was a video about lack of sunlight causing myopia as a kid
Myopia occurs due to elongation of eyeball and excessive curvature of the eye lens

Wasn't this exact video

Nice thread I have gotten the euphoric feeling, higher energy levels, and glowing skin benefits from sungazing however I did not see any noticeable change in eyesight unfortunately. I’ve been doing it for over a year now. I did it close to the time I started eating raw meat as well
