Surgery suggestions

I'm currently looking into hyoid suspension surgery, but I just want to get some second opinions on what would also improve my side profile. I have an overbite and I really didn't think that it had that much of an effect on my face but it really does. I was also thinking about orthodontics, but from what i heard (correct me if im wrong) it could just fuck me up even more. Some of the pics are from a while back, but they just show my issue better

Your mandible and chin are recessed, thus causing a loose submental.
So my bet would be on a BSSO + genioplasty. Unless there's a separate issue with the hyoid, these 2 procedures will probably fix the submental by stretching the skin adequately.

Orthodontics could be part of the process and won't "fuck you up" if planned well.
To get a proper diagnosis, do a round of consultations with maxillofacial surgeons specialized in orthognathics.
