Let me clarify: i agree with Sv3rige but theres nuance

Ok so by completely ignoring how people prepared certain types of meat from certain types of animals, historically, he kinda fucks up his viewers. He still buys the meats he eats from farmers who still cleanse their animals of parasites etc. Soooo his advice on what is natural or not is fallacious, you aren't gonna find an ivermectin treated chicken in naaaatuuure. Lets actually break it down:

Cultural and religious food rules (like the pork ban), traditional cultural food recipes existed for a reason. His name means Sweden, so hes a latvian who larps as Swedish, but of course he doesn't know how Swedes and other nords actually prepared their food before da joooooz and da vatican.

The fact remains that the best way to safely prepare food while keeping all the nutrients is to simply freeze the food at -20°C. Yes, that means that people in colder climates had a superior way of preparing food. Thus, you would actually think that people that know this would, evolutionarily, compete the most for colder climates actually. Which is the case, all these people came from Russia and the steppes. However, as they entered hotter climates, they were forced into cooking meat. Reliance on omnivores (boar) forced them to cook the muscle and organ meat entirely. Herbivores could be eaten freshly after a kill or either have certain bodyparts fermented, dried or cooked rare. Birds are slightly higher risk of parasites so they have to be cooked too. Fish can oftentimes be fermented without any risk so long as you clear the organs. Many folk recipes hold memories of a people migrating from a different climate, and finding new ways to prepare safe food that still gives the most nutrients and probiotics. But all in all, safest food to prepare are herbivores (without cooking) so freezing etc.

Instead of looking at things historically and the way they are, he just calls parasites bullshit lmfao so why do all these adapted folk food recipes exist?

TLDR only eat frozen herbivore meats in 2025 but parasites aren't a conspiracy theory

Otherwise i fw his vids, this was just a sidenote. Btw steak tartar is frozen before serving so yea
